Not every garage project starts with generous space. In this project, the parameters were clearly defined: two parking spaces, fixed dimensions, no possibility of extending the structure. That was exactly the challenge — to elevate an existing double garage without increasing its footprint, and to transform a functional space into a garage that visibly does justice to the vehicles within it.

Greater depth through glass
One of the defining design elements is the glazed rear wall. It gives the garage visual depth, expands the perception of the room and enhances the presence of the vehicles. Especially in a compact two-car garage, this creates a decisive effect: the space remains functional, yet feels significantly more refined and expansive.
The vehicles are not simply positioned in front of a rear wall. They are reflected, staged and experienced from multiple perspectives. In this way, a classic double garage becomes a space with the character of a private showroom — restrained, precise and free from unnecessary effects.
Leather-clad and padded walls
Anyone looking to transform a garage at an exclusive level has to think beyond appearance alone. In narrow parking spaces, the protection of the vehicles also plays an important role. For this reason, the side walls were leather-clad and softly padded. They protect the bodywork when entering and exiting the vehicles, while giving the space an exceptionally refined tactile quality.
The wall surfaces do not feel technical or retrospectively added. They are a deliberate part of the overall design concept. Their soft surfaces recall the interior of high-end automobiles and create a calm, elegant atmosphere.
Light lines instead of garage lighting
The lighting was integrated into the floor, the walls and the ceiling. Fine lines of light define the parking spaces, guide the eye and stage the vehicles with precision. Instead of conventional overhead garage lighting, the result is an architectural lighting concept that structures the room and gives it a particular depth after dark.
This is not a garage trying to appear larger than it is. It is the consistent refinement of an existing double garage — with clear materials, protective surfaces and lighting that does more than illuminate the space. It gives it presence.
